Making old fashioned rolled oats with a little turbinado sugar, walnuts go on last. Takes 10-15 minutes to make, pretty healthy, dash of Mexico bought cardamomo gives it kick.

Try the recipe as ‘overnight oats’, saving the walnuts for the morning so they don't get all soggy. Soaking in almond milk makes it yummy and creamy. :yum:

Brings back childhood memories of cardamom toast. Mix cardamom and brown sugar. In small batches (i.e. when making a batch of toast for the family) blend sugar mixture with soft butter and spread on bread. Toast until bubbly.

So this morning, inspired by this thread, I put brown sugar, cardamom, and coconut oil on my baked sweet potato. And to continue the topic, this was accompanied by an egg fried with olive oil in a red bell pepper ring, "seriously sharp" cheddar, fresh spinach, sliced tomato, avocado, on real German pumpernickel - with a side of fresh blueberries.
