Brings back childhood memories of cardamom toast. Mix cardamom and brown sugar. In small batches (i.e. when making a batch of toast for the family) blend sugar mixture with soft butter and spread on bread. Toast until bubbly.
So this morning, inspired by this thread, I put brown sugar, cardamom, and coconut oil on my baked sweet potato. And to continue the topic, this was accompanied by an egg fried with olive oil in a red bell pepper ring, "seriously sharp" cheddar, fresh spinach, sliced tomato, avocado, on real German pumpernickel - with a side of fresh blueberries.
